Page hits have made it over 10,000 - Thank you!!

What a difference a newspaper article makes! A couple of weeks ago the local media company, Archant, printed a selection of my Suffolk based photos in both the Evening Star and East Anglian Daily Times newspapers. I had about four days to dust off the website and add some bells and whistles to make it look good before their publication. It was like cleaning the house before your parents come round for tea - but I'm soooo glad that I did. The response has been terrific!

Before the pictures appeared the site had chuntered along at a few hundred page hits a month for about a year or so, but there have been more than 4,000 hits in the last four weeks and you're still coming to look. I've also had emails from literally around the world, with Suffolk ex-pats getting in touch to say that they miss the old homestead and how the pictures have either made them feel better about being away - or made them even more homesick.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to take a look - and particularly to those people who have taken the trouble to drop me a line either on the Guestbook or through the contact pages. I'll keep adding to these pages as I get into the Suffolk countryside - and there are still a batch of Scottish shots (heavy snow!) to be added along with the pick of the 850 I took in Sri Lanka and the Maldives last autumn...
