The Bridge on the Burgsteeg

Tucked between the almost gothic Leiden town hall and the small hill dominated by the walled fortification of the Burg, the bridge on the Burgsteeg is in the heart of the twice weekly Leiden market place. Need some cheese? This is where you come to. Need some tulip bulbs? Ditto. The best bit about it though, is its proximity to the Einstein Bar where they serve the best uitsmijters - thats a fried egg and ham breakfast beloved of Dutch photographers, and some English ones....
