The Jurassic Coast

The South Coast of England is a fascinating area - a real mix of geological oddities and pleasantly sweeping ups and downs. There are castles by the handful, a large area given to the MoD to run their tanks around, stately homes to wander round and more fossils in the cliffs than you can shake a stick at. I can't pretend to understand the upheaval that has taken place through the aeons to create the fantastic layered cliffs, the bays and the tourist attractions that form the Jurassic Coast - but I can appreciate them, especially on my lonesome at an hour of the morning when sensible folk are tucked under the duvet, not caring how to manage the first rays of light from a crystal clear dawn without frazzling the camera pixels that should be recording the image. And then theres the question of where to get coffee and bacon when you're done. Its not easy...

I've been lucky enough to be photographing around the Dorset coast for a few years now, and while a few pictures are included here, I also have many more with an online Stock agency based near Bournemouth. If you want to see more like these then why not pay a visit to SEEKER PHOTOS, but don't forget to come back here when you've done...
